Members of Augmented Five invest and grow our resources so that we can extend ourselves to include other musicians and deserving students.

Mission:

To supply quality musical performances to audiences in the Fraser Valley that create community and to provide an artistic outlet for members.

Core Values and Constraints:

As professional musicians we seek to grow musically and challenge ourselves with repertoire to showcase our skills and move us forward in our craft.

As members of a group we recognize the need for audience engagement and a coherent programme for each performance according to the situation.

We value connections in the community and provide quality performances to those living in retirement residences who can no longer attend concerts.

We value the labour of others, wishing to highlight each other’s skills and the offerings of our sponsors and contributors.

We produce a minimum of two distinct programmes a year – winter, spring/summer, and fall, and aiming up to five sponsored events.

Guest artists are invited and approved by all members, with compensation based on an honorarium, scale, or equal cut basis.
