
Angelina Van Dyke is a Canadian lyric soprano specializing in concert repertoire, opera, and chamber music. Following her BMus, she studied extensively with Joseph Shore and pursued advanced training with Martha Jane Howe, Gioachino Li Vigni, Giovanni Reggioli, Nelly Miricioui, Salvatore Fisichella, Kenneth Bozeman, Stephen W. Smith, and Heidi Moss Erickson. Angelina has completed an MA in Vocal Pedagogy with the Voice Study Centre at the University of Wales, including a certificate in voice science with Johan Sundberg, Sten Ternström, Svante Granqvist, and Filipa Lã.
In addition to her performing career, Angelina is an active and sought-after voice teacher. She teaches privately through her Angel Music Studios and holds a voice teaching position at Place des Arts in Burnaby, British Columbia. Her pedagogical approach integrates technical clarity, intellectual understanding, and personal expression, fostering focused learning and long-term vocal health and identity.
Angelina’s voice is frequently heard in Vancouver community performances of Messiah and in thoughtfully curated concerts spanning classical and crossover repertoire. She is the Artistic Director and lead soprano of the ensemble Augmented Five and serves as Secretary of the Vancouver Board of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). Her artistic work seeks to unite refined technique with expressive depth and artistic wholeness.
