Angelina Van Dyke

Angelina Van Dyke is a Canadian lyric soprano specializing in concert repertoire, opera, and chamber music. Having studied extensively with Joseph Shore after her BMus, Angelina has also trained internationally with Mikiko Hashimoto, Gioachinno Li Vigni, Giovanni Reggioli, Nelly Miricioui, Salvatore Fisichella, Martha Jane Howe, Kenneth Bozeman, Stephen W. Smith, and Heidi Moss Erickson. In addition to performing, Angelina is finishing her MA in vocal pedagogy with the Voice Study Centre at the University of Wales, including a certificate in voice science with field experts Johan Sundberg, Sten Ternström, Svante Granqvist, and Filipa Lã.

She inspires singers and pianists at her own Angel Music Studios, where her praxis integrates intellectual understanding with personal expression, fostering focused learning and personal development toward wholeness.

Angelina’s clarion voice is regularly heard in community performances of Messiah in Vancouver, and in carefully curated benefit concerts highlighting various music genres and subjects. Currently she is artistic director and singer for Augmented Five, a classical music ensemble launching its exciting second season. In her artistic pursuits Angelina aims to refine the technical aspects of music and integrate them into a personal expression of wholeness.
